Ok, now we have E-UAE ported to Wii.

Things are getting interesting, :).
Just need to get HDD and Savestates working, :).

Baboon, I have attached the config with classic controller L and R set as left and right shift.
Try it and get back to me.

Can you not just plug a mouse / keyboard in and use it like a real amiga?

No HD?

bwhahaha...  unlucky chaps ;)  i'm sure you'll get the full functions of eUAE that i'm already enjoying eventually!

No luck running it via linux then? Please let us know what the speed etc is like on full AGA games or other classic "unrequired over-use of cpu time" games.

Ermmmm, yes you can. Done that with linux, plugged my wirless mouse and keyboard in and it worked straight away. Will have to test it on UAE Wii, and let you know.

Speed is very good in AGA, been playing SUBWAR and ROADKILL, and it doesnt suffer when you use chipset (GFX wise), you do get loading times alittle longer, but with FDD speed set to 800 it aint that bad.

I see on gbatemp you've posted that you have got this to compile and that you've made some changes/improvements. :)

Will you posting info on what you achieve etc on here too fol?

As you proberly already know, I aint been around much as I have been halping with the UAE Wii emu on nintendo wii.

Alot of PSPUAE code is making its way into UAE Wii. Also im getting ideas on ways to make PSPUAE faster.
1 idea came to me today, so fingers crossed it yields something.

You can checkout the progress of the Wii emu here,

:(  it is a sad day. the great divide is coming.

any chance of just making a new build of e-uae for PPC linux (you know, that thing where IPFs, HD etc all still work?) , where the joystick-> mouse mapping is fixed like it is in PSPUAE?

lol, not a sad day, behave, I love PSPUAE.

You should check out the UAEWii source, its un touched, just E-UAE downloaded and compiled.
Its a very very clean source code.

then why doesnt HD work? I am running 'clean' e-uae compile on Linux, and just a different build on the Mac. HD works fine on both.

do you have the same problem on WiiUAE with joypad -> mouse mapping?

it's a great divide FOL, because Anemos & myself will go the way of PS3UAE .... yourself with the Wii....  i think it's sad, when it's already obvious the Wii committments are taking over.

Hmmmmmmm, I have been doing other real life stuff to.
Its seems obvious to me, you have already kicked me out the door, :(.

And to think, im actually working on PSPUAE now, :(. Ofcourse my commitments are to the wii, im sure PSPUAE will run on the wii, lol.

hardly "kicked out" FOL, you choose what you want to do! I'm just calling it as I see it... and we all know, apart your own efforts, PSPUAE hasnt had much hope in a long time, and now it seems it will have even less.... you said yourself your commitments are now for the Wii (and as a system i hold no regard for whatsoever, so it's hardly surprising if that makes me bitter!)

p.s. you've avoided all my questions relating to working functions/fixes etc :P  you say PSPUAE will run on the Wii.... so why not on Linux / Mac etc too?
