The 'General Discussion' and 'Feature requests and bug reports' boards are open to all.

The 'ClassicAMOS Development', 'AMOS 3.x Development' and 'AMOS Pro Documentation' boards will only be open to Core/Contributing Developers, Beta Testers and Documentors, all others will have read only access.

Core/Contributing Developers and Documentors will be defined as AMOS Devs. Beta Testers as AMOS Beta Testers.

So if you want write access you will need to declare yourself as a Core/Contributing Developer, Beta Testers and/or Documentor.

Current primary project areas are Code Review and bug fixing, AGA Support and AMOS TOME resourcing. Please specify which areas you would like to work on so I can add you to the developer list on each project page.

This is an open discussion topic, declarations, opinions and feedback is welcome.

You can put me down as a contributing developer.  I'm not sure how much time I'll have to put into it but I'll pitch in where I can.

Lonewolf10

I wasn't going to put my name down for this as I have other projects I am working on, but I have been helping out here where I can anyway so you might aswell stick my name down as a contributor! ;)

We'll need all the help we can get, so come on in  8)

what's the status of this project?

Development stalled in 2021 after a bit of a kerfuffle with Francois and some of the devs.  Unfortunately, this was just prior to a planned AMOS Factory release of AMOS 2.2, which was supposed to be a bug fix release.  I still have it in source control and would love to restart development, but many of the old devs have gone their separate ways.

Anyway, as I have time I will be working on the 2.2 release and, with some luck, it'll be released soon.  If you would like to contribute, I'd be happy for any assistance.

Awesome stuff, :).

On side note, do you have any contact details for MadAngus? I have tried email he used here and had no luck. So I'm fearing the worst after almost 8 years of no contact.

@FOL, no I'm sorry, I don't have good contact info for MadAngus.

I had a similar problem contacting BruceUncle, but he finally replied about a month ago.  No contact since then, but there is always hope.

An update to AMOS PRO would be so great! First, bug fixes, then ergonomic improvements, especially to the editor, and later an update to support accelerators and rtg, etc. (even though I prefer to stick with standard OS 3.2 on machines with the original chips).
