Hi,

I was going through old message posts from the AMOS-list group over at Y! and stumbled onto this link:

http://www15.brinkster.com/liquidsoftware/amiga.asp

At the bottom of the page are 3 extensions, including KewlDoors v2.1!

Does anyone here know what this extension does?

MadAngus

Download link was broken and my search didn't turn up any info. The wayback machine doesn't have the file for download either.

As he said that he used it to develop his Max BBS Doors (whatever they are) I can only assume it is some support code and functions for developing doors.

Absolutely no help whatsoever ::). Oh well best of luck finding the info.
My shadow says otherwise.

Thanks MadAngus!!

My guess would be something to do with BBS's! I have a little experience on BBS's (HolodeckBBS w00t!), but am still a little unfamiliar/confused by some of the terminology (e.g. doors) :(

Curiopsity got the better of me.

Wikipedia have a description on this -> BBS_door

Quote from: Wikipedia"A door is a computer program, on a bulletin board system, that runs outside of the main bulletin board program. Sometimes called external programs, doors are the most common way to add games, utilities, and other extensions to BBSes."
My shadow says otherwise.

Kewldoors is indeed an addon to make BBS doors, and it was very good (I purchased it at the time)

It was written by Nicky Murkett who was a Maxs BBS programmer and BBS Sysop (His BBS was called "Red Rum BBS")
I may have my copy lurking somewhere, if you are interested?
