by Aaron Fothergill

I have not had much time to check it :-(

That file is version 3, which will not work with the update that updates TOME and makes it work with AMOS Pro, but I have found the v3.1 update and have managed to get TOME working on AMOS Pro.

I have made it easier to install, so download the ZIP attached to this post and follow the instructions in 'ReadMe!.txt'.

I have a some books which have chapters on TOME, so I will probably scan those and upload them too at some point.

It's a great extension.  :)

Sorry about all the posts.

I have made a quick video to show what TOME can do and how it does it. I will make a better quality video showing more of the editor. Select fullscreen to see the video properly.

nice one !

I didnt even know there was an update. This is great.

Well, the other previous versions made by the original creator don't work with AMOS Pro, but some chap created this to update it and make it compatible. It is a very powerful and easy to use extension, I would place it second after AMCAF. :)

Hi all,

asymetrix, thanks for finding it. It has saved me from searching through all my Amiga floppy disks :)

skate, thanks for the update file and awesome video. I can't wait to get started with TOME. I just have to get some of my other projects done first.

Lonewolf10:

My pleasure, Im thankful Skate put the update and manual together.

How is your project going ?

I installed TOME just like you said in the readme, but when I click to run AMOSPro it says can't find extensions and I have those 2 files in the APSystem folder and the interpreter config in the right slots so I don't know why it's not working.

Have you ever managed to install any other extension before? My guess is that you have entered the filenames wrong or you changed the names of the files.

I have a whole bunch of extensions installed and I checked the filenames and they are all correct. I just re-checked and ran it again and it keeps giving me the following:

Cannot load extension-try using default interpreter config.

When I delete them out of the config file AMOSPro loads up ok

Krakerman

Maybe it's having problems with another extension in another slot, dunno

Krakerman

Yup it's conflicting with another extension. Which one not sure ... as I'll have to delete one by one and find out which one. I came to that conclusion as I installed it with a fresh AMOSPro and it works with no other extensions.

There are some tile functions in Turbo/Turbo Plus if you have either of these installed, you'll probably want to remove it.  AMCAF and TOME are a good combination and I can verify that EasyLife and the Ranger extension don't conflict with either of those two.  Currently I have all of those installed.  Also, AmosPro came with a few extensions so hardly anything conflicts with those.
