Dear Friends:

i just read in the amiga.org a young kid -13-who is building his first amiga computer. He wants to learn amos -i think- but dunno where to start.
Methinks...i have a website...maybe i can start a series of lessons -free- on how to learn amos from scratch...all the way to developing a roleplay game -like my amos game-. What do you guys think?
Is it a good idea?
Cheers!!!

It sounds like a good idea to me.  I have a tutorial on using Amos but unfortunately it's on my F1 Licenseware disk and is not freely distributable. :(

Why not use the example programs that come with AmosPro as a basis for your tutorials.  That should save the kid some download time.

the examples on the disk which came with the Ultimate Amos book (a good read btw for teaching the amos beginnings) are also very good. Its in the downloads section.

I agree.

It would be great to have some AMOS tutorials for beginners available on the web and would save people hunting down rare, or hard to find, books.
