Hi, I'm installing AMOS Pro on winUAE, with a view to installing on my A1200. When I go into WB3.1, install Amos, then when I reboot and launch, The amos editor opens but with a very garblled screen. Yet if I just boot from floppy directly into AMOS all is ok. But I want to be able to switch back to workbench.

Please help,

P.S. I'm really excited about getting back to AMOS on a real Amiga after all these years.

Thanks, Rick (UK)

left-Amiga & M or A , (i forget which, as i dont use the default) should allow you to switch between AMOS and the Workbench.

It sound like AMOS is being openned in a display which winuae isnt displaying properly (i have similar trouble with double-pal-no-flicker display images from my a1200 looking buggered on winuae) - but considering that AMOS opens up in its own display mode, this is somewhat confusing.

what screenmode is workbench booting into? what settings are you using for winuae? What install of WB are you using? (is it pure original WB, or a pre-installed pack such as "Classic WB"?)

I realize you are running Workbench 3.1 but are you running it under Kickstart 3.0 or 3.1?  The reason I'm asking is that 3.1 had some fixes to make sure that ECS screenmodes had enough time to set up from Graphics.library .
