i've found that IK+, one of the most playable games on pspuae, no longer works as well on the latest version.

you always had to turn the music off (F3) anyway, bt you could always hae the sound-effects..... now on 0.51 you get this horrible buzzy sound, and on "exact" sound mode, you also get massive slow-down.

anyone else found any games which worked before that now have problems like this? or is it really *just* ik+ ???

yeah, i keep 0.41 on my 32meg memstick (along with IK+ adf and pspkick) and everything else (0.51b, loads of adfs, pspectrum, dgen, blah blah blah) on my 1 gig memstick!

that way i get the best of both  :D

Why was E-UAE picked to port?
Why couldnt WinUAE be ported?
would that have been better? as its in the final release stages.

i would assume that e-uae is entirely C, whilst winuae will be coded in x86 assembler.

i'm under the impression though tht the e-uae source is being updated based on improvements made to winUAE, so eventually it *should* become a C version of winuae..... but i'm sure that'd take time!

oh and being as chunky as it is, winuae would be really really slow!

:(, Im dying to start messing with C, from what I have seen I understand some of it. I would need to find out what to touch and what not to touch first.

This seems to be a problem with the emulating of IK+. Will archive this thread.
