UAE4WII 0.1 - Amiga Emulator for Wii

Zegouky has released an  amiga emulator for the Nintendo Wii:

    UAE4Wii is a port of the famous amiga emulator UAE based on UAE4all from Chui.
    Pressing home will bring the GUI.

    Wiimote is used as the mouse but also as pad #1 and pad #2

    A = Left mouse click
    B = Right mouse click
    1 = Fire button
    + = Quit when emulating

To come, a nice GUI with advanced functions, a virtual keyboard and surely an update of the UAE.
Base source code used by Chui for UAE4ALL for more compatibility.

I've tried the 512kb kick.rom with this emu and, although the emu boots, when you select a drive to load an adf it just freezes the wii each time?

If this does work i'll be a very happy chappie! ...well it will give me a reason to use my wii again. lol

Yeah , I just saw this . Gonna try it out myself . you probably need the same modified kick.rom used in pspuae , not the normal one . Gonna try it myself now.

Runs nicely with the patched kick.rom . A bit lacking in features yet , but for a 0.1 im very impressed .

Lovely being able to point at the screen while playing shufflepuck cafe and other mouse games

My kickrom was fine... it the meulator freaked out cause I had too many adfs in one folder. I trimmed it down to about 20 games and all is good now.

I've briefly tested a few games and these are running great...

battle squadron, blood money, bubble bobble, dynablaster, eswat, head over heals, ghost busters, lemmings, magic pockets, pang, rolling thunder, silk worm, swiv,  turrican 2, xenon 2, zaxxon, super cars 2, shadow of the beast 2, rtype, speedball 2, robocop1&2, pacland, pacmania, chase hq (although theres no key for the nitros), rodland (although the sound is a little bit slow), BC kid, alien breed... so far so good!

With a decent gui, onscreen keyboard and savestates in the future this will seriously give new life to mi wii. lol

Tried a bunch of games myself . Every game ive thrown at it has booted so far , but not all work because of the lack of keyboard.

Theres a fair few I wanted to work that dont because of the lack of keyboard (north & south, battle chess, dragon ninja, barbarian 2, dizzy collection etc) but most of the games I've tried you can start by pressing the assigned buttons on the wiimote already (Left & right mouse click and fire button).

I'm only 'funky' on tehskeen as someone already had the baboon name. lol

oh no.. Wii is not main style..
i have
NDSlight : one time i take it and play Warcraft remake (and test some emus.. crapy..)
Playstation2 : i have 1,5 years to play this (i have EYE-TOY camera is fun with this..) my girl and Woman play as good
PC :every 1-2 months some game..
Amiga 1200 : every 2-3 days for some arcades games!


oh i forgot.. PSP : i open it every .. 2 weeks..? lol

Yes, and there are issues with the sound, which people are over looking but its only a beta.

I'd never get a Wii, even with 100% Amiga emulation!

I'd actually buy an Amiga first, Nintendo are for kids, That DS shite is bobbins and so is the Wii. Nintendo games are for morons and kiddies. 

As for the Wii fit mat, get a bloody treadmill or pushbike if your to fat!

Wii is a versatile little box no matter how you look at it..
It also has some interesting game concepts with the controls .
Not many consoles you can play with both your daughter and grandfather and they will both like it.Wii is one of them.
