PSPUAE 0.71 UPDATE!!!

Right, just to let you all know were we are.

We are almost ready to release PSPUAE 0.71. It just needs testing to make sure all errors / bugs from 0.70 are fixed, and that there are no new bugs.

The current changes look like this;

* Fixed, not saving Frameskip setting (thanks to horace, for making me see the code clearly)
* Added left / right sound DWORD code (from Winuae, fixes sound not outputing correctly)
* Made sound bug from 0.70 into an option, as it gives a speed increase
* Altered Frameskip logic (to help stop frameskip going crazy)
* Altered Official Cycle Unit to improve CPU speed option
* Added Anti-Interpolation sound code (from WinUAE)
* Added Stereo Seperation option

I have also made a new PMF, which is longer and hopefully better than last (56'kers beware, its 2MB).

As you can see the last image before fade out, was octamed, was trying to see how far i could push pmf in regards to length and audio.

North and South, Stunt Car Racer and Moonstone pretty please FOL! - all of these are truly classics that for me define the Amiga (plus they all work on PSPUAE).


...On your pervious pmf you covered a couple of my favs with Bubble Bobble and Turrican anyway.

i like a running theme, rather than a scattered collection.  preferably only 1 or 2 games (like the populous 1/2 one)

my current recommendation is bitmaps collection; Xenon 2, Gods, Speedball 2.


a Cybernoid 1 / 2 one would be cool though, what with my work on the whdload slave progressing (albeit very slowly!) - if you need winuae savestates for this (to get to some cool levels!) let me know later

also, perhaps it would be a good idea to re-do previous themes (populous, project-x) with pmfs, music and a "versionless" eboot pic.

its alright to keep with themes, that project x was pretty nice- so was the populous one :-)  however its an Amiga emulator=- which covers a lot of games, so I reckon it makes sense to have a collection...  of GOOD games
