Right, just to let you all know.

Im almost ready with a new version, that will fix bugs from 0.70 and add a few more options.

There is a beta that is being tested at the moment, and im sure I have covered all the problems found in 0.70
My next step before releasing anything, is to try and improve the sound more.

Will update you all on my progress.

Hi FOL, after low level formating my memory stick and only installing My ADF's with the old FS 0.70b install, I ran a couple of games, setup the settings and keymapping, then when happy with how the game ran - decided to savestate the games for future access.

the problem is when I try savestating, the proccess begins, the busy light on PSP lights up as if the savestate is taking place but then the psp self powers off! when I run psp again and browse to the savestates, the name of the savestate appears in the savestates, when I try loading it up, I get this message "Cannot restore state from 'ms0:/psp/game/pspuae/state/1943.asf'. it is not an amigastatefile.

Have you encountered this?  :'(

I love how it runs - but miss the savestates

Nice find, :). Thats an odd 1, as it only happens from first boot, you load an old state then load something via adf then save, it works, lol. Ill take alook tonight.

FOL - your gonna hate me! having other problems with beta.

1943 freezes when i press space bar for smart bomb (keylogged to PSP right trigger), emulator gets trapped in endless sound loop, then graphics go beserk, then resets amiga. thought nothing more until i got to level 2 in arkanoid II, game froze in endless sound loop again, then reset amiga.

these are only two games I've tried so far - so I'm worried.

will try others and see if its a common fault, with lots of games.

sorry  ;)

EmuChicken

hmn, are the problems present in the birthday edition? ...  any chance you could give it a check just to make sure?

I never encountered either problem with  1943 or Arkanoid II whilst setting them up, but I have put 0.63BE back on PSP slim to see if it does! sounds fishy with the endless sound loop resetting amiga, the savestate problem is more severe. EVERYTIME I try to savestate, I get self powered down PSP.

further investigation! lol  :)

argh...indeed 1943 sound loop shutdown occurs on 0.63BE. when using smart bomb. so eleminate that error from 0.70b beta error.

sorry!

No problems, its all fine on my phat, so maybe its a slim issue, need to wait for tsig, to see if he has problems. All states are working fine for me, as they did in the 0.63 BE release.

Ok, pin pointed the savestate crash, theres a bug in the floppy code, as it only happens when an adf is in the drive.

After a few hours of stress, turns out its the new psp toolchain, thats causing this savestate problem. The only way i can get old toolchain back is to run my recovery dvd. PC needs a fresh install anyway, :)
