PSPUAE won't start (Error 80020148)

Hi

I'm new to this PSPUAE thing, so please bear with me. So I get the error message 80020148 with PSPUAE 0.63 and 0.7 when I want to start either.
I did install the software like it is written on the readme file.

My PSP has the 3.90 M33 firmware on it.

still sounds like you've installed it wrong.

if you are using a Fat PSP, put the PSPUAE/ folder with the 1.00 eboot into:   MS0:/PSP/GAME150/

i think if its slim it just goes in MS0:/PSP/GAME/ - but since i dont have one, i dont know.

maybe he need also settings of recovery to play 1.50 kernel ?
dunno for 3.90M33-2 , i have 3.52M33 for now..

I`m having the same problem with fat 3.71 m33-4 , the error is always `Game could not be started - 80020148`.

I tried with copying it to GAME, GAME150 and setting kernel to both 1.50 and 3.71, none of the combinations work please someone, help

Do you have everything in the correct place, you havent given much info.

well I tried with copying both folders (%_SCE and _SCE) to:

PSP\GAME and PSP\GAME150 and with kernel set to 1.50 I get error 80020148

when I set kernel to 3.71 and copy folders to PSP\GAME the error is 8002014C, and when I copy them to PSP\GAME150 it is 80020148 again.

it`s the same with both 0.71 and 0.63 pspuae. my firmware is 3.71 m33-4. ask if you need any more info? I guess this is a noob problem but I really cant solve it? thanks for help

Those are your error codes.
80020148 = PRX type unsupported
8002014c = illegalLoadExe cfilename

From this im guessing your using Plugins?
If so disable them. As thats the only thing it can be.

I just got it to work.. I copied the emulator from CFW_SLIM folder, I thought thats only for slim psps and it works!

Its in the readme, . Thats why I named it CFW <------ For Custom Firmware & SLIM <--------- Works with slim.

The 1.50 eboot is purely for 1.50 Firmware, if you had the 1.50 Plugin for 3.71, then the 1.50 version would work.
