The well known M33 team is going to bring out a 3.60 custom firmware for the new PSP. Good news I think this new PSP will be mine, what do you think? Smaller, less heavy, best control stick ans best autonomous!

Well, it is good news. PSPUAE users will benefit from higher memory amounts and being able to connect to a TV. Apart from that, the slim still doesnt appeal to me.

Yes I have forgotten for the TV out, could be interesting
And FOL you said PSPUAE users will benefit from higher memory amounts
The more memory in the flash could improve the emulation?

Nope, only that user could use more memory. It wont help with speed.

Can anybody confirm that the latest pspuae (0.63be) works on the 3.60 m33 custom firmware??? (i haven't got a slim yet - but will soon)
I'm really keen to play BattleMechs with my bro - through tv-out !!

I assume the pspuae eboot (maybe kernal 1.0 version maybe?) would work under cfw's 'GAME360' directory...?
I'm really not sure though - any info would be greatly appreciated !!

If this is not possible - when may a new release of pspuae for this firmware be available? Can't the source just be "updated" to run on kernal 3.xx?

Well, the current 1.00 eboot works fine on psp's with custom firmware 3.52.

I use the 1.00 eboot always, and have always left my kernel on 3.52, not 1.50. So it should work fine, aint had anyone with a PSP Slim report it not working so I couldnt say for sure.

SWEET !! Thanks for the quick response - sounds promising.
Once i get my slim in a few weeks (and installed cfw) i'll post a confirmation pspuae works (fingers crossed).

Kicks emu, they mean 1.50 Kernel is not supported, ;). PSPUAE runs fine on 3.52 kernel. So as Slim is using 3.60 kernel it should be alright.

It works fine with the new n00bz eloader. Only problem is it runs slower, :(. Hmmmm, its going slow, like there is plugins running, but i have disabled all plugins. I do have PSPUAE setup as an ICON on the xmb, and that gives the fastest speed. Going through either eloader or normal game icon is giving me this slow down, ffs.

I was happy to see the noobz eloader was out just in case pspuae didn't work in 3.xx kernel... spewin to here it's running slow. Hopefully it runs faster on the slim - guess i'll have to wait and see.

FOL - you say you have PSPUAE setup as an icon in the XMB (not through game, memory stick etc) which gives the fastest speed...
I'm confused (and intrigued) - how do you mean (in the XMB) ??

I have been working on a OS3.9 based theme, I changed the network update icon to a psp icon, and used prx launcher to launch it from the system folder.

Above is the capture gif of it working. 56ker's beware its 8Megs.
Plan is to make the menu's drop down like the real amiga, but for now im learning how it all works.

Above are pics, when I was in the process of making xmb icons.

On a final note, i dont know why its running slow on my psp, using normal methods as when i was beta testing my changes using 1.00 eboot in 3.52 kernel gave the same speed as the xmb icon im using now. Before turned out, i wasnt using plugins, then i started using them and then found i had slowdown, turned out to be the plugins, turned them all off this time, and its running slow still, :(.

So its proberly my PSP, the way to tell is on the kickstart screen frameskip should sit at 3 and not alter. Thats the fastest speed possable (well when i was testing in beta). Be nice to hear people are having same problems as me, maybe its the custom theme?
