Amiga Online & PSPUAE Site Merge
« on: November 15, 2009, 11:28:15 PM »

Hi,
This site not what you're expecting?

Dont worry - you havent come to the wrong place - we are currently in the process of merging all the sites relating to Amiga / Emulation.
This will bring it all together and make all areas more active, as seperately the activity was dropping.

We hope to bring all aspects of Amiga gaming to the masses.

We will be looking to encorporate into the site, support for all of the following emulators, including feedback from developers where possible;

PSPUAE
PSP UAE4ALL
WiiUAE
e-UAE (OSX, Linux, PS3)
pUAE
WinUAE
WinUAE-Kaillera (Online Play)

and any others i may have missed!

... this will come in the form of guides, FAQs, your queries/comments in the forum, and hopefully (where applicable!) News updates from the whole of the Amiga scene.

We will of course not be ignoring genuine Amiga hardware users! FOL has taken up a job at AmigaKit and is therefore a resident expert on the topic :)

We are also hoping to add some sections on your favourite games, so if you'd like to create a small 'fan page' for any Amiga game you are obsessive about, and have an accompanying small residence within the forum, please get in contact, either by PM, forum post, or by popping into our chatroom.

Finally, we will be looking to aid anyone wanting to bring new games/software to the Amiga, by the addition of our Developers Resource - this will contain any information or developers archives that might aid anyone who wants to get into creating something new.

Coders, Graphicians, Musicians, Designers and Playtesters are all welcome in abundance, be it simply for discussion or contribution... The more who are involved, the more people can help one another.

Let us know if you have anything you'd like to ask, or even better, to contribute!

On a side note. If you prefer to have it look like old pspuae.com site, simply use the theme selector on front page (Side blocks) or change it in your profile.
Theme's are as follows;

PSPUAE
WB 3.0
Amiga Online

Im sure more themes will follow soon.

some of you may have noticed a theme change to the nice new Red 'Ultimate Amiga' Theme, as part of our on-going re-branding of the site.

You should be aware this will soon be available in multiple colours / shades, so you'll be given the option to change the selection if it's all that red is a bit much for you. (EDIT: i just made the Blue version of the theme available to all)

You can also still select the classic PSPUAE, Amiga Online and Workbench 3.1 themes, if you prefer a touch of web-based nostalgia.

Watch this space for updates :D

@ FOL, nice going on the job @ AmigaKit...  you got anything that can make my UK standard A1200 (with hard drive and accellerator) work with full colour on my japanese NTSC ONLY telly?

... so its a MERGE?   ahhhhh  ...  just doing the usual spamming, threw a bookmark on the toolbar, will visit more than I have the past year promise! ;>
