Hi there,

I am running V.3.40 on my PSP

I have been trying to follow the Install Guide and I get to the part where you need the Kickstart ROM Files, I paid for the Online Version of Amiga Forever to get them (was that a dumb idea ?), I have the game files I just seem a bit lost....none of the rom files are named kick.

I seem to be missing the Kick, Disks folders after copying the PSP directory from the PSPUAE I downloaded.....

I was hoping this might be simple.....

Someone please help me b4 I commit har-kari with my PSP !!!!

Thanks

Well, the Amiga Forever Kickroms will not work with PSPUAE.
Plus if you look at the kicks, you have to rename them according to version,

KickStart Rom 1.3 needs to be renamed to kick13, etc etc.

If you have an Amiga you can dump the kickrom yourself. The reason the Amiga Forever Kicks dont work, is because they are oversized.

Also, do you have V3.40 OE - A or V3.40 SONY Firmware?

Hi there,

Thx for the reply.

Looks like Amiga Forever was a waste of money....

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do you dump from an Amiga ? (I have an Amiga 500 2MB which runs Workbench 1.3) I have the disk if it helps ! (Sorry, total novice at this)

I have Sony Firmware 3.40 will that be a problem ?....(sounds like it might be)

Any help / advice would be much appreciated....

Thx,

Ouch, no point dumping the kickrom, if you do not have custom firmware installed on your psp.

Well, I wouldnt say Amiga Forever is a waste of money, as you can use in on your pc, plus it comes with lots of extra's.

If you join chat, i can talk to you about your problems.

You cannot run any homebrew, PSPUAE included, if you have Sony Firmware 3.40.  It is, at this time, *impossible* to downgrade/upgrade to a OE firmware when you allready are at 3.40.
