i just use a PS2 pad -> USB thingey on the PC like this:

much easier, and you can play online that way.

i rather like swos with the analogue stick.

Thought there already was a port, and you can get HD`s now for PS2, seen it some where, where you diditn need a chip, as I gave my PS2 to my son, didnt bother looking in to further. Dont know why much rather play PSOne than PS2.

That would be why, isnt the swaptrick only for playing your backedup originals. And for the love of pete, check your post before posting it, lol, ;)

I did have a quick scout around, and it says you can play homebrew with Swaptrick, but aint seen a tutorial on it yet.

damn, cheers for trying FOL. i'll have a look around tonight and see if the creator has an email addy.

Hungry Horace

pretty sure you need like thje action replay disk thingey for the swaptrcik, and to take the front of the disk-tray off (mine falls off anyway)

you do something like, load up the AR, start a "real" game, then freexe it and swap disks for the homebrew.... never treid it though.

i am wondering what i missed in this discussion.... i see editted posts and wierd comments (and talk of "backups" - lol)

i use swapdisk not the swap trick with a real game.

the swap disk makes it possible to play "backed up" games by inserting the swap disk first them it asks you to insert the "backed up" game.

Hungry Horace

ahhh - gotcha.

dont see why that wouldnt work for a properly created bit of ps2 homebrew though?

i know that's my problem, the readme that comes in the zip file it pooh and doesnt tell you what to burn to the disk, i'm gonna have to get in touch with the creator of the ps2 version of uae and see if they can shed some light on it for me.
