REQ: save state plus cheats

Don't worry, I did a forum search first and found no matches.

I find Alien Breed games very hard, but luckily there are hackers who created trainers/intro screens. I like to use invincibility, etc. then wait until the game has loaded, then save a state. Next day when I load the same state, the trainer cheats are lost. This sucks when I progress onto level 3 or 5 and realise I don't have my trainer loaded anymore.

Will there be a functionality to save trainer state too, as a toggle ofcourse? Pwease, pweety pwease.

Odd, would have thought that would save to. I aint tried this, have never cheated, so cant answer at the moment.

why not use the RISS save-states and the in-game cheats?

as for the cause of the actual problem, ive no idea... since the save-state is a save of the entire amiga memory there is no reason why the trainers should "drop" from the game.

You guys are right. The save-state is saving the trainer cheats too! I found two different trainers. And at the time I forgot I didn't save state when I advanced levels. Shame the #1-#6 states are shared by ALL games.

Ah, yes, I could've used in-game cheats instead of trainer cheats.

Just wondering whether this is a bug of save-state or bug of the trainer:

I saved state of Alien Breed + trainer to level 5. Next day I loaded state and played level 5 and as soon as a completed it the game crashes. I was able to see level 6 briefing screen for 1 second before the screen went bonkers. Anyone completed Alien Breed (level 6) using dream17.co.uk Alien Breed?
