Still in the thick of Phat compatibility.
We need 10 or 11MB, we got 2MB, lol. So still fighting to claw back as much RAM as possible.
It works perfectly fine on A500 512kb Chip and 512kb Slow. Just dies on A1200/CD32 2MB config.

Will check emu pre-allocations again. See if we can trim more off there. I do have a few other ideas to try and gain more RAM, will continue tonight.

Almost there, regained around 8.5MB so far, still on it.
Taking longer as phat is exposeing ram leaks, higher models ignore.

OK, after 4 hours of trying stuff. Most I can get is 8.5, so on the safe side, thats 2MB Chip and 4MB FAST. I maybe able to swing ranger fast ram.
However that may work like real amiga, you need a patch to make OS see it as 1.5MB instead of 1.8MB. If its not patched, it overwrites part of the scsi.device address. Well thats my understanding of it. Patch just tells computer and OS its only 1.5MB, so stops it crashing/guru'ing.

So what I have done;
1- reduce main eboot mem heap from 6mb to 3MB, this gives us 3MB instantly. (doesn't seem to effect operation).
2- Compress all colour tables and sprite code, gave us extra 660KB.
3- Dynamically allocate RAM, depending on how many floppies are enabled, that saves 288KB when using 1 drive.
4- Made some buffers dynamic, so remoduced ram usage a bit more.

Final result is around 8.5MB clawed back.

I do have one issue, added full restart on changing RAM, to fix CD32 issue. I will have to remove that, as it causes emu to take 30 secs to 1 minute to boot on certain mem configs.
