This January 16th version doesn't have a keyboard implemented. John4p's mods already support keyboards, but only the FAT version is available online, and I need the SLIM version.

They are same. What issue you having exactly, what firmware you running?

PSPUAE4All_newcontrol_and_verticaladjust_mod.zip not work on PSP Go it is FAT version.
Version PSPUAE4All_analogmouse_ctrlmod_vadjust_usermode.zip is for SLIM.

Again, they are same. PHAT, SLIM no difference. Trust me I have build proberly over a 1000+ .prx / EBOOT since Febuarary.
Both work on PHAT or SLIM.

What happens exactly when you try to run it?

It's not the same. You can look back through the threads and it clearly states that this is a build for kernel 1.50. I tried using ARK4 with LEDA but it doesn't work
