Zegouky has released an amiga emulator for the Nintendo Wii:
UAE4Wii is a port of the famous amiga emulator UAE based on UAE4all from Chui.
Pressing home will bring the GUI.
Wiimote is used as the mouse but also as pad #1 and pad #2
A = Left mouse click
B = Right mouse click
1 = Fire button
+ = Quit when emulating
To come, a nice GUI with advanced functions, a virtual keyboard and surely an update of the UAE.
Base source code used by Chui for UAE4ALL for more compatibility.

I've tried the 512kb kick.rom with this emu and, although the emu boots, when you select a drive to load an adf it just freezes the wii each time? :(
If this does work i'll be a very happy chappie! ...well it will give me a reason to use my wii again. lol
Yeah , I just saw this . Gonna try it out myself . you probably need the same modified kick.rom used in pspuae , not the normal one . Gonna try it myself now.

Runs nicely with the patched kick.rom . A bit lacking in features yet , but for a 0.1 im very impressed .
Lovely being able to point at the screen while playing shufflepuck cafe and other mouse games :)

My kickrom was fine... it the meulator freaked out cause I had too many adfs in one folder. I trimmed it down to about 20 games and all is good now.

I've briefly tested a few games and these are running great...
battle squadron, blood money, bubble bobble, dynablaster, eswat, head over heals, ghost busters, lemmings, magic pockets, pang, rolling thunder, silk worm, swiv, turrican 2, xenon 2, zaxxon, super cars 2, shadow of the beast 2, rtype, speedball 2, robocop1&2, pacland, pacmania, chase hq (although theres no key for the nitros), rodland (although the sound is a little bit slow), BC kid, alien breed... so far so good! :)
With a decent gui, onscreen keyboard and savestates in the future this will seriously give new life to mi wii. lol

Tried a bunch of games myself . Every game ive thrown at it has booted so far , but not all work because of the lack of keyboard.
Why are you just a baboon here and not a funky one ,like on tehskeen ? ;)

Theres a fair few I wanted to work that dont because of the lack of keyboard (north & south, battle chess, dragon ninja, barbarian 2, dizzy collection etc) but most of the games I've tried you can start by pressing the assigned buttons on the wiimote already (Left & right mouse click and fire button).
I'm only 'funky' on tehskeen as someone already had the baboon name. lol

i have
NDSlight : one time i take it and play Warcraft remake (and test some emus.. crapy..)
Playstation2 : i have 1,5 years to play this (i have EYE-TOY camera is fun with this..) my girl and Woman play as good
PC :every 1-2 months some game..
Amiga 1200 : every 2-3 days for some arcades games!

Yes, and there are issues with the sound, which people are over looking but its only a beta.
I'd never get a Wii, even with 100% Amiga emulation!
I'd actually buy an Amiga first, Nintendo are for kids, That DS shite is bobbins and so is the Wii. Nintendo games are for morons and kiddies. ;D
As for the Wii fit mat, get a bloody treadmill or pushbike if your to fat!

Wii is a versatile little box no matter how you look at it..
It also has some interesting game concepts with the controls .
Not many consoles you can play with both your daughter and grandfather and they will both like it.Wii is one of them.

I´m not here to argue with people who have been dissing nintendo since day one as a sport. Was one of them myself before I got into wii homebrew and also discovered that the playability beats the gfx and power on a machine like that.
Always hated NES and SNES and N64 ,alsos Segas ventures like the megadrive and the nec turbografx.
All of them had way weaker specs and performance than my amiga and both sounded and looked cheap compared to my beloved 500 .
I didnt get a console before the PS1 turned up because that was the first machine i felt beat my amiga in gfx and sound ,but I almost only used it for wipeout until the first exploits appeared . After that ive been messing with most consoles and I dont hate Nintendo anymore just for a sport . they do have good ideas from time to time like everyone else does..
Just because amiga geeks has been dissing nintendo forever dont give you a freepass to rudeness and to call me a moron , you little deltashit who needs to talk down to others to feel good about yourself ..

Yeah this emu has got sound a few sound issus, but for a beta release I think this emu is already very stable. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next update. :)
The wii is currently turning into an excellent emulator and homebrew machine (at this rate it will rival everything from a modded xbox1 - which is currently the next best thing to using a pc for emulation). Delta might mock but using the wii pointer for amiga mouse and shooting games (which also works fantastic for scummvm!) works quite well. I'd would say 90% of commercial wii games are complete shite (but this can also be said for the psp), but the homebrew is more than making up for nintendo's retail mess.

I agree, Wii is great, I used to hate Wii, then played it once, same day, I bought 1, :). Its the whole control thing, its very good the way the controls get used.
despite what you all say, I still think the Wii is a way overpriced heap of junk.
The DS is the same, an overpriced small heap of junk, still selling for 129.99 at amazon, which is robbery.

ZeGouky has posted that the next version will have improved sound, usb keyboard support, a virtual on screen keyboard, a better GUI with advanced functions (hopefully savestates), plus greatly improved wiimote/mouse controls. He's apparently already implemented most of these features on his build he's testing so hopefully we'll see the fruits of his labour sometime soon on the wii.
Definitely one to keep an eye on people. :)
..now if only the author of the wii specky emu FUSE would finish off what he has started I'd be completely sorted for emulation on the wii (well that and maybe mame too).
The only on-topic comment i will make is that it's a shame for the users that this is based on UAE4ALL and not e-uae... as this will mean no 020, kick3.1, AGA or additional memory support in the future.
