I found a gem of a game called 'Snoopy and Peanuts' or something like that...it's a really well made game...you walk around as Snoopy and the graphics are really easy on the eyes.

I've always liked the Icom Simulations like De'Ja VU 1 and 2, Uninvited, and now I'm finally working on Shadowgate.

There r many cool little puzzle-type games that work so well with PSP..

my question about save-states was if you can delete the ADF if you have one (a save-state for a partucular game)...something tells me you cant...just wondering..

yes, you can delete the ADF, providing that you no longer need to access it during gameplay. (this is what happens with the RISS, where the "install adfs" are not included with the save-states)

There are too many good ones for the best AMIGA model A-500+ to make a top 3.
3.90M33 PSP Phat

0.63 PSPUAE

1GB Pro Duo Memory Stick

No Loaders Just CFW

Real AMIGA = A500+ Cartoon Classics Pack

Run AMIGA HD via R.I.S.S. Saves on 1GB Card with CFW in PSPUAE.

Runs PSPUAE on the non overdumped AF Roms.

Use A1200 most of the time on PSPUAE because of R.I.S.S.

lmao, tha A500+ was just a cheap rush-job by Commodore to keep up demand for A500 sales, when really they should have been releasing the A1200 by then.

Not quite as bad as the A600 (no numpad - wtf?!) but the best amiga model??!  lol

oh for sure!  "Consume Self" "Hit Self" etc...lol

Amiga's sound is great...I spent alot of time with MED.

Ok, the SAVE STAE is only for games the load the entire game to ram?
I imagaine a multi-disk game must need a STATE for each ADF.

Can you tell me why the music is out-of-snyc?

Btw, Space Shuttle Simulator looks really cool.  I also Like Nightbreed: The Interactive Movie...But I'm stuck in the underground maze.

Amiga was really good for making movie-games.  Fright Night is one of my favorites as well...(can be fustrating though)

no, thre seems to be some confusion here.  a save-state is simply the "dumping" of the amigas memory to disk. The game could otherwise be running from one or more ADF, and the save-state used to "jump-into" the game at a certain point.

However, we have desived the RISS, which "abuses" this function, and allows us to run save-states which are entirely independent of the ADFs. This means there is no need for extra disks even if the game is usually multi-disk.... all from 1 single save-state file.

the RISS FAQ goes into far more detail:

My real A500+ reads all A500 "The best model" disks plus it runs it's own 1MB disks like Puggsy and Lemming's 2 too, so there for A500+ is the best AMIGA model in my point of view.

Even all the Dizzy's work on my real A500+, and those are the so called non working A500 games.

My drive broke at some point and I replaced it with an upgrade before playing the Dizzy game though, which could be why.

A500+ does -not- play all a500 games "out of the box".... that's a fact. It's a kickstart incompatibility thing, which can be fixed with something like TUDE of ReloKick.

the best has to be the A1200 with HD mate :p

AGA, more memory, better kickstart, better expansion options and fast loading. top-dollar :D

Accesories like a Hard Drive doesn't count because this is about the system with the best games for it.

I dig how the underside of the A1000 has signatures etched into the plastic, including a cat paw.

DC

However not a game, I spent gobs of time with Deluxe Paint III and MED editor.

The AGA games I never really got to see much.  I remember having a new A500 with the 512k expansion delivered ...for only 310 bucks!

Anyway, it played most games I could get.

I was excited about the A3000 but then disappointed to hear it had problems with games.

The thing that was superior about Amiga as I remmeber was the sound capibility that IBM or Mac couldn't do for years afterword.

The CD32 didnt go over so well here, I'm not sure if I've ever seen one in person...Let alone where to get games.

I guess the A2000 always seemed the the best of them.

DC

The Shadow Of The Beast series were, offhand, the best I knew of all around.

For some reason, I liked Crazy Cars II for it's simplicty....
..Wide open highway, real maps of Nevada and New Mexico, a F-40, and a cop chasing you.
