PSPUAE 0.51b Released

Great work!! Now what we need is just 5-10 fps more with correct sound and faster loading times, to make the games playable.

Just a note... I belive UAE stands for Unix Amiga Emulator - nothing else.
(although the meaning has probably changed over long time... think IÂ´ve
seen Ultimate Amiga Emulator aswell... but as far as I understand, Unix is the correct one...)

hmmm... i'm pretty sure that's not the case! although i believe the original UAE did begin some early life on Unix

I first come across WinUAE about 8 or 9 years ago. It was also named Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator. So its only fitting I used it, as if it wasnt for them, PSPUAE wouldnt behere in the first place.

thanks for detailing the re-creation of your problem.... this is the *only* way to do good bug-testing

however, can i ask you to keep all bug reports / problems in the 0.51b release section of the forum, (preferable with "BUG: " in the subject)

This will mean that Ric will be able to find all report bugs in one section of the forum, without needing to trawl through the News comments.

Good games, DUNE has to be my favorite, but it is abit slow but playable.

dune 2 is ok... even when its just runnig at 85-90% its still very playable.

never really tried Dune tho. maybe it is time?!

thanks for this nice website for support the best computer i never know on the best handled video game entertainment : the PSP !!
thanks for the community for keep me childhood in mind cause amiga was my best souvenir !!!!
i have PSP cause amiga émulator come to life ! amiga have the best games, music and the most important,
the best gameplay that you didn't find nowaday, no need 3D ! today i was playing "Benefactor" on pspuae and it remind me that it's "DIGITAL ILLUSION" who make this game, the same who made battlefield1/2 ! many good companies have beginning on amiga/atari-st.
i very enjoy lastest versions of pspuae for mouse speed, very important for play "Shufflepuck café" !! a great game !!! i just hope than more speed, full screen and my dream; have AGA support for play "BANSHEE" on my psp !!

ps : i have made "benefactor video help (for show how to finish level), i could post you if you need !!!

Thanks for the support, just have to ask, you using the latest version?, which is V0.61 as your post is in the V0.51b release thread.

As PSPUAE has increased in speed and features since this release.

... digital illusions made battlefield? I thought the evil EA had ahold of that game? (and had mass spyware issues with the new bf20xx whatever it is) ?
