voices 1,2 and 3 can be used as I need voice 0 for the sound effects.
Your help would be very appreciated :)

Anyway, here is a screen shot of the game so far and a link to a very
early demo. I get 50fps on my stock A1200!

Link to demo.

For the AMOS is really stunning, however the author wrote also that he used some assembler routines for display, so it's rather impossible to make it in pure AMOS. It would be great if he would to share us source code and the whole idea with asm routines.
Also im courius how it will looks as complete.

cheers

SamuraiCrow, where did you get that post from, only it differs from the one i saw! In particular the "stock a1200" comment:

QuoteI have just started development of a new Sonic The Hedgehog type game but I really need some help from you musicians out there. I would be grateful if someone could knock up a few 'jolly tunes' for me as I am hopeless at using music sequencers.

Format: Protracker (voices 1,2 & 3 only) I need voice 0 for soundFX.

To show you what I have got so far, below is a screenshot of a very early demo and there is a link to the sonic.adf image at the bottom. Please try it out if you have the time. I currently get 50fps on an A500.

If anyone is interested in producing some music modules for me then please post a note in this thread and I will reply as soon as possible. Please note that I have a full time job so please be patient for a reply.

Regards, KevG.

you've no way of knowing that! it doesnt suggest either-way unless a source is specifically stated.

edit: sorry selur, but i've removed your following, 100% off-topic and frankly flame-baiting comment - really not necessary.  :(

I got this post from the Amos-list mailing list on Yahoo Groups.  He was having difficulty creating a new post as his connection to the Amos Factory kept timing out.  After he tried 4 times to get it up he just gave up.  I posted it for him.  Also, there is a screenshot that was in the original post that I didn't get up.  If you have hosting privilages somewhere I can email it to you.

Hi Folks

Just to clear things up a little.
It does run at 50fps on an a500 under Winuae and I have tested it on a real A600 and it is 50fps also.

When I tried to post the first comments here I had only tested it on an A1200. Unfortunaltely I had some problems posting it thats why the moderator did it for me. Since then, I have done the other tests and posted a similar notice on EAB with the updated info about testing it on A500.

I hope that clears things up and I hope that this message gets posted and I dont have the problems I had before.

fingers crossed - click!......
