I've been trying to install Amcaf on my emulation setup and my real setup. I can execute the file called "ExecuteMeFirst!" fine, which I think sets up the labels or something for the installation process.
When I try to run the installation program it goes straight to a guru, has anyone had this before?

There are also 2 guides, one is called Amcaf.guide and the other is called Amosguide. The Amcaf guide identifies as a normal Amiga Guide file, where as the Amosguide file identifies as a CrunchMania file. I have tried changing the tooltypes and fixing the extension, but none of it works, I get guru'ed everytime I try to run it after I have attempted to fix it. The guru might just be my setup though, but the file still doesn't work. Maybe its not even meant to be a guide file, but just part of the AmcafGuide.

BTW, the AmcafHTML guide in the downloads section is doing the 0kb download thing again. I will let FOL know, but could someone try removing that file and THEN upping it again.

I have managed to get amcaf installed manually, but I am sure it would be more useful and easier for begginers to be able to use the install file.

I don't think I ever did get the installer to work on AMCAF.  I always just did it manually.

Installers are unlikely to work on emulated machines, simply because many installers can't work with anything around the 4GB mark (or more). They see the memory size as being negative.
I don't recall using the installer, but then I was much happier installing things manually :)
