well on that video, you can clearly see the sounds slows down when accessing the ADF file (you can see the memory card light flash with the slowdown)

on the savestate, the music samples cut off everytime it acceses the RAM Disk, but there's no discernable slow-down... just a wierd side-effect of WHDLoad in RAM... a small price to pay imho.

there's a bit of fluctaton to the speed, as i think i left it on auto-frameskp when making that video.

Well, for me no game - currently loading from disk or not - has this "fluctuation" in speed/sound. Of course many games are playable like that but you can not enjoy the music - actually one of the top reasons for me to keep playing Amiga games ;) Many games like Turrican 2 (someone mentioned it would be playable just nicely) are actually NOT playable - at least at auto frameskip because of the experience constantly switching between "choppy" and "fluid" (I tried T2 from your savestate by the way, so no adf accessing etc.) Playing at a constant frameskip of 2 or 3 also results in a "not-so-fluid" experience. Well, anyways, keep it up! I am sure you guys will get this sorted out just nicely in the future ;) And this thread was accidently posted in the WRONG topic by me, sorry, I didn“t want this to go into "archived" stuff.
