how to create bootable cd32/cdtv iso only with stuff created on Amos? which methods and tools are needed, and where from can we find documentation that can help on this process? and how can we test them on emulation?

The Amiga Developer CD v2.1 contains all that is needed to make CDTV disks that boot except a CD-Burner and CD-Writer software that supports RockRidge extensions instead of the Jolliet extensions used by Windows and Mac.

where can we find it? if it generates .iso files ready to be burned, it's fine enough! :) (i'm a GNU/Linux-only user)

I normally use CD32Dev kit.

ISOCD, is the program it contains. Its also has the TM files.
I tell it to it use the CDTV trademark file. If for CDTV, you also need to have the RFTM file in c: and called in the startup-sequence or it will not remove the trademark screen on boot.

http://www.vesalia.de/e_developer2.htm has the link to a German distributer that has the Amiga developer CD.  You'll need an Amiga emulator such as FS-UAE to use it with though.

3 years later, still useful information .... thanks FOL ;)

edit:  although the file is RMTM .... not to be confused with RTFM,  lol

You dont need the rmtm file in c:, if its a cd32 disc. As cd32 uses freeanim.
Its best to set cd32 discs with cdtv tm file. This way you can use set patch to enable cd32 functionality. Using cd32 tm file will force full functionality on boot of disc, i.e. no control.

I am making a 2 game compileation which are both ECS, and an AMOS menu, so also ECS.

figured i might as well make it fully CDTV compatible :)   ... but yes, atm, it is only working on CD32

Your right, rmtm is not to be confused with rftm. rmtm = Disc trademark file, rftm = Remove trademark animation from screen.
I was doing something  years ago and got heavly into how CD32 disc's work etc etc. So can give you plenty of tips etc etc on how to optimise disc for speed and what not.

Hmmm, missed this post. Any chance you can send me everything to have a play with.

EDIT:- You got a real CDTV? I do, so can test on real hardware.

You just use ISOCD with the TM files to create ISO. Its quite well documented, if you look at the CAT's readme in the CD32 Devkit.

Yep , it's quite easy although the CDTV crashed when my AMOS program generated Bobs.

Maybe power bobs would do better

Chuck me what ever you want tested.
Maybe us going off topic warrants a split thread?
