Workbench 3.1 and/or Poing6

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've searched but I cant seem to find the help I require.

I'm running the latest beta on a PSP 1004 (phat) with the latest CFW.

The problem I'm having is that I'm trying to run a game called Poing6 on PSPUAE and I'm not getting very far. On WinUAE I have to boot into Workbench 3.1 with the Poing6 adf mounted and then run the game from there.

With PSPUAE I've tried booting into WB1.3 with the Poing6 image mounted but no joy. WB1.3 doesn't recognise the image correctly.

I'm not really sure if the game is a1200 only or not. I don't think it is.

I've tried setting PSPUAE to the 3.1 kickstart but it still shows the old-school floppy-in-hand 1.3 boot screen. I've tried the a1200 preset in PSPUAE as well.

Basically if Poing6 was bootable it would make my life easier.

If you've not played it, check it out. It's the best breakout clone I've ever played. I looove the music. If you read this Mark van der Valk, thanks! Also, if you every feel like breaking off the algorithmic music code into a standalone prog I'll personally give you between £0.01 and £100.

OK, I've got it running by loading the inbuilt 1200 config then saving to slot 1. I made sure to drop in kick30.

Problem is now the sound is pretty garbled. I'll have to have a play with the settings to see if I can improve things.

You say your using Custom Firmware, which firmware?

Very odd, its working here. On my Phat 1000 PSP running same firmware.
Is yours ChicHED'ed?

What about the FAME/C Version?

I have not chickHEN'd my setup. I've looked into it but I'm not sure of its uses.

FAME/C, not sure, how would I know? Is it bundled in as part of the PSPUAE package? I'm using the latest PSPUAE beta release.
