Hi, just to update you on the progress of the FAME C core intergration into PSPUAE.
Ric has been working hard, as he almost has a stable beta ready. Ric has said, that in his early stage tests, Ric has had 5 to 7 FPS more speed. His next step is make it stable enough for us to test it with some Pre-Selected games as Ric pointed out he hasnt really tried any games.

This is good news for PSPUAE, but remember, FAME C is still in the very early stages.

5 to 7 from 30 or 5 to 7 from 100? :)
Great news btw this is the greatest update for me

oops, guess i failed to notice it was in the Admin boards... sorry.

i've moved it, (and the same link works) since i see no reason for our general forum members not to know what we all do. (although looking at it, in my case, very little... hehe)

ello.

Just a quick message of support to all you guys beavering away on this great emu.  :)

I downloaded this for the first time today and was well impressed with what you have achieved already. I've just had a quick blast on bubble bobble, battle chess and North & South (which kicks Castaways ass cause you can redefine the keys now to select your different armies via the shift key)... and with a few frame skips the games are playing very nicely.

Good luck implementing the fame core... once that is complete (I apreciated it will take some time to sort) this will defo be one of my fav emu's on psp.

Thank you for bringing my A500 memories back!  ;D

or as a google search revealled one of my own posts on dcemu.co.uk.....

Quotethe FAME core is a 68000 processor core, (Fast and Accurate Motorla 68k Emulation library) - it has recently been converted to C, making it useable in emualors such as PSPUAE and UAE4all. It is known to be somewhat more efficient than the UAE core used previously.

i hope that clears things up!
