I have all the valid ROM's, bought from Cloanto and they work just fine in my emulator on the PC, but even though I set everything up as it should be set up, PSPUAE won't start and just goes back to the PSP OS. Why!? I'm using version 0.53.

You've definetly renamed the ROMS as kick13.rom, kick20.rom etc?  And they are also in the PSP\GAME\__SCE__PSPUAE\ directory?

KidCactus

Absolutely. Everything looks like it should according to the readme, and the ROM's are valid. Really annoying, I must say, since I have no idea what to do.

Well it definately the Roms, as thats the only reason PSPUAE will boot you back to XMB.

Yea, I'm sure it's the ROM's causing it then. But since my ROM's ARE valid and working elsewhere, I'd say something's wrong with PSPUAE.

I thought the Clanto roms were edited in some way, to work with only the Clanto Amiga Forever.

But isn't Cloanto using standard WinUAE or WinFELLOW? Anyway, I've downloaded Fellow from another site, and the ROM's worked in that too.

Well as the roms you quoted are 256kb in size id say they are not standard.

But that's only legal ones (?) you can get hold of without owning the hardware...

Yeh, we all know you can get hold of them, just of matter of searching. I thought clanto bought the rights to the kickroms, and any further developemnet of them. My CD32 Kickrom works fine, as its just a 3.1 and the extended makes the CD32 Version.
