Sorry for my ignorence, but what exactly does the Re-tokeniser option actually do?

apart from seemingly stop any screen output.

Transuranic heavy elements may not be used where there is life.

It converts the encoding of an Amos program to text and back so any incorrect or obsolete encoding is eliminated.
