Greetings :)
Now we have a actual homebrew installer for the Vita, are there any plans to recompile PSPUAE as a .vpk? It runs well on the legacy PSP so im thinking it should run ok on the Vita??
I have tried to recompile myself but I fear my brain has gone rusty over the years :(
do we? can you give more details please... very interested! :)
Please details, found the rejuvenate project to much work and I am unable to use vita normally unless I update it.
EDIT:- Very interesting. Just updated to 3.60 and it installed. Will do some testing.
EDIT2:- It works very well. Just been playing Atari Lynx and MegaCD.
They also have a prebuilt toolchain. Makes life so much easier. Will check it out.
Sadly doesn't seem to work in 3.18 atm.... I will wait for it to be back-ported I think!

Now I have had a play, will look at toolchain once I get chance.
Yes, with PSPUAE ported (PSVUAE?) I have a strong likely hood of upgrading, but.... Do I want to lose my PSP gaming?!
I was however, implying that I'd wait for Henkaku to be made 3.18 compatible, which is my preference!!

excited :) does this mean it would be fairly easy to port to HENkaku?
EDIT: May be worth adding or releasing the emu (if possible) here - https://gbatemp.net/threads/henkaku-homebrew-request-thread.436542
I added it as item 7 on the list...

HENkaku has been confirmed as a kernel exploit so it just a matter of time before PSP ISO will be enabled :) Looks like it may open up Vita games too, still TBC though

not sure why the thread links to the WinUAE source code though? There is PSPUAE source here on this site, and will be fare more suited to adapation to PSVita!
Requested the thread owner to update the source link to the source hosted here :)

Yes, 0.80 is stable to.
EDIT:- Will look on weekend, too much going on week days, :(.
Hey up! yeah a pspuae0.72.vpk would be cool for HENkaku, just managed to dump first vita game and it's worked fine.
Much more interested in homebrew and PSP titles on the Vita though.
Retroarch for HENkaku is being updated nightly and the emulators are getting much better now, managed to get Mame2003/0.78 romset working last night, perfect galaxians, mooncrester, galaga, centipede ect.
The PS Vita has been given a new coat of polish, would love to see PSVuae on the homebrew list :)

At the moment, just haven't had time to sit down and work on old release. Need to get that sorted before I try and port it across.

Thanks for your efforts FOL, appreciate real life sometimes gets too hectic.
I would offer to help out but unfortunately these kind of things mystify me. I have attempted to compile the pspuae source with the vita toolchain but failed terribly :o
Hope I make sense. Been drinking, ;). 16 years of marriage.
Post the errors you get. Will and help fix them.
