I'm trying install AMOS Pro on real Amiga with HDD Workbench 3.1
I'm booting workbench from HDD then put AMOS PRO System disc into floppy and run install icon.
It runs until i got screen "Amos Proffesional Hard Disc Instalation"
-------
Total 4271485 Bytes
Free on "AMOSPro_System" 6832 Bytes
It seems that it wants to install it on flopy but im clicking "choose another device" and nothing happens.... ?!!?!?

The problem is the size of your partition. You're using a size that is too big to fit into a signed Long. Try again using a partition smaller than 2 GiB.

hello Sam
Nope. I'm using 250Mb Hdd and the partition size i 40Mb... :-\

DId you boot from the hard drive or the floppy? It has to write some configuration files to S: at the end. Maybe that's what happened to you.

AMOS tends to get muddled up with it's directories sometimes.
Why not install to floppy and then manually copy the floppies to HDD? You will have to alter the User menu items in AMOS as they will point to the disk versions, but it is alot easier than trying to install on HDD.

The problem solved.
I was trying to install Amos from my original disk but it was already installed on floppy and the amos changed some files on disk. So when booting from floppy the amos was loading directly. So i had use Amos disk from download section to install it from floppy.
