Post by: Gerry on 09 Nov, 2008, 01:50 PM
When I run the install prog I get to the select directory part and then it says I haven`t got enough space. But I have 58gb free space but the insall prog tells me I have a Minus value of memory ie:(-5811000000 etc)
Can anybody help with this

Regards

Gerry

The reason its giving negative values, is because it was made before the world saw HDD's in the GB's. The HDInstall tool does the same, but still operates fine, if you quick format the drive.

Try using a 100MB HDF image and install it on that. Could be the installer wont handle negative values.
