Dear Friends:
How about we pick one day every week -pref weekends- to get together and chat abut amos on our amos server ? Then we can share our new projects and amos work together.
Cheers !!!

i autojoin the channel everytime i switch IRC on (most days)
weekends arent so good for me though, i have gigs to play, and hangovers to recover from!
You play gigs, Horace? Cool, do you make much money from them?
I agree, Friday or Saturday are ideal days to meet up and chat. I'm not on Y! messenger as often as I used to be, but I can try and remember to log into the IRC chat here.

yeah, I DJ 2-3 weekends a month. I get paid anywhere between £40 and £150, although if its the latter i'm involved with event organisation as well (as i was last weekend).... when that happens, i'm not given much chance to party!
Sundays often involve me sat on my bed, coding, with Xchat open, so that might work!
Thats cool Horace. Bet you're glad of the extra money at the moment :)
So is anything happening with this chat idea, or is it as cold as tomorrows turkey (which should be in the freezer right now)?

like with today, i will no doubt spend all of tomorrow drinking ;)
merry xmas to all :D
FYI, the chatroom has moved to the abime.net servers
either;
irc.abime.net
or
irc.projectmage.com port 6669
channel name #amos
this is because it is easier to maintain, and seems to bring in more 'casual' AMOS-ers from EAB.
SamuraiCrow: i know you are sometimes on this server too. I dont know if you are registered on there with ''nickserv" (type /nickserv help ) , but if so please let me know what name you are reg'ed with (same goes for all other AMOS friends who enjoy IRC usage)
I'm not registered with a nick on abime. I usually log in as Samurai_Crow. Should I register my nickname?
-edit-
Ok. I'm regged as samurai_crow. BTW, the command to register is /msg nickserv help rather than /nickserv help.

hmm... /nickserv or /ns work fine here! maybe because i'm already reg'ed?
added you anyway ;)

Probably you are using a different IRC client than I am.
So did we decide on a chat day and time?
