Title: looking for adventure creator
Post by: rednova on August 15, 2008, 05:49:15 PM
friends:

I am looking for the adventure creator program that I believe was made in Amos. I believed it was included in the f1 licenseware cd. I think it was called grac but I am not sure. i think with it you can create point and click adventures. Can anyone help me get this?
Thank you!!!

Yup.

I certainly have the CD. I'm not sure if the versions of GRAC and GRAC2 I have found so far are demo's or the full versions.

Oops.

Apologies to Rednova, I'd forgotten all about this! I did get your email the other day though, so I won't forget this time :)
I'll try to look into it tomorrow.

According to the AmigaCoding wiki (http://www.amigacoding.com/index.php/AMOS:ProgramsCreatedWithAMOS#GRAC_2_.28Graphic_Adventure_Creator.29) GRAC 2 is just a demo but GRAC is the full version on the CD.  There's a bug in AmosPro that occurs when trying to smooth scroll horizontally so only scroll vertically with GRAC.

Do you know where the full version of GRAC is on the CD? I haven't come across it yet.

I checked my notes the other day and found out I had marked it as GRAC, but it's actually GRAC 2 demo. The information on AmigaCoding is correct.
