Title: Moving AMOS to another drawer
Post by: protek on November 02, 2007, 07:17:27 AM
I'm doing a major reorganisation in my A1200, which includes replicating the setup and look&feel of WinUAE in the A1200 and rearranging the application drawers.

Now, I've moved my AMOSPro from Work:Amos to Work:Software/Amos and of course the AMOS now complains that it cannot find ATPSystem (or something like that) folder. Of course I could go and reinstall AMOS but I'd rather do without the hassle of installing AMOS and its upgrades. I saw that AMOS has created two config files in S:. Do these files contain the path assignments? Is there something else I should tweak?

Thanks!

AMOS Pro searches for a folder called "APSystem" which is normally in the same folder as AMOS Pro (and other relevant files):

....Your folder/AMOS Pro
....Your folder/APSystem

I think you understand.

As for the config file ("AMOSPro_Interpreter_Config"), it just stores all the names of the extensions (and other files) that are to be loaded from the APSystem folder. It also appears to store the flash colour sequence for the interpreters flashing cursor.
