Title: Merging extensions?
Post by: Lonewolf10 on September 01, 2007, 01:34:28 AM

Hi,

Whilst collecting AMOS extensions I have built up a small selection of extension sources. I was thinking of merging these together to make 1 extension, thus freeing up some slots for other extensions.

The reason being that I hate having to choose which ones to have loaded and generally stick with the built-in commands alot of the time.

Any comments/suggestions?

It sounds like a plan.  Personally, I think the AMCAF extension is the only one I actually use but, then again, it seems to be the type of merged extension you're describing.

one of the parallel joystick commands in AMCAF doesnt work properly.... this is the only reason i also use the ERCOLE extension.

If you have these sources, it would be nice to see that fixed in an AMCAF revision ;)

Sorry, the only extension sources I have are as follows:

 - Colours

 - JVP v1.01 (20th Jan 1998)

 - Misc v1.0 (1995)

 - Opal (1992), but thats allegedly for AMOS - The Creator (maybe I could make it Pro compatible??)

 - SLN v2.0

I don't think Chris Hodges has released the source of AMCAF. I know he has released the sources of all his games (in .AMOS code) which can be found in AllPlaton.lha on Aminet. I have only had a brief look to see what's in the archive.

PS. How do I go about uploading extensions to this site?

In order to post any file to the site you should post a message with the LHa file in an attachment to the "submissions" forum.  For more information, see the sticky, locked, forum post at http://amos.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php/topic,42.0.html (http://amos.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php/topic,42.0.html).
