Title: amospro help files
Post by: rednova on August 26, 2007, 06:26:52 PM
Hi Skate:

I have the same problem. My amospro installed to hd, and it can't find the help files.
What you can do..is to load the help files direct from disk...anytime you need them.
Hope this helps.

is it not just a matter of setting up an assign?

I've had this problem before and fixed it pretty easily from what I can recall, but now I can't figure it out. I think I will just reinstall AMOS PRO, since my current install is almost an exact copy of horace's setup, which means that the drives and assigns are not set up for my system. Now to download all those disks! O_O

Lol.

Great to see you guys having fun here. I think this is my first message here (?), but I have been a member for a few weeks.

I never use the AMOS help files, instead I have both manuals (AMOS - TC and AMOS Pro) by my side when programming so I can check syntax and/or look up new commands (after all I can't remember all 500 + those from extensions!).

Regards,
Lonewolf10

PS. Have you guys been downloading the AMOSlist archives I have been uploading to Aminet? If not, why not?!!
