Title: Driving Game
Post by: rja4096 on August 23, 2007, 07:48:16 AM
Hi, I'm going to have a go at a simple driving game tonnight (wife is out), a bit like outrun or lotus style. I'm thinking of 'cheeting' and using dpaint to create a animation of road lines moving toward the viewer using perspective animation. - I'd need lots of frames, maybe 50, and to vary the speed, I'd just skip some frames.

- I'll let you all know how I get on. - P.S. what are the turbo extensions, what exactly will these speed up?

Thanks, Rick (in UK)

The Turbo Plus extension has some functions for accelerating point plotting and starfields.  But the AMCAF extension has more so I'd recommend that one first.  (Also, be sure to download 1.50b of AMCAF since the earlier versions required a registration to work properly.)
