you use normal adf images/standard amiga disc format) or .riss savestates with pspuae . No special versions for a particular console or anything like that

Welcome!

You can find the RISSs in the download sections. http://pspuae.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl (http://pspuae.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl)
RISS stands for RAM Installed Save State, but basically they are just games. If you want to know anything about PSPUAE then read the guides found on the homepage.

If you can't find an answer to a question in these guides, then feel free to ask. If you want to know more about the Amiga and the emulation of it, then google is your friend.

in order to run the RISS of Moonstone, it is required that WHDload is registered.

WHDLoad is the program that makes all the RISS possible, and is used on real Amigas, and WinUAE for installing real-copy (not cracked) Amiga Games to HardDrive.... it's a big project, with a lot of coders spending a lot of time creating the "definative" no-disk versions of old Amiga games.

The website for it can be found here; www.whdload.de

the guide posted by skate :   http://pspuae.condor.serverpro3.com/index.php/topic,401.0.html

tells this

QuoteWhy am I getting a multi-coloured screen saying something about limited functionality, and the game refusing to run?

Many of the save-states use an Amiga program called WHDLoad to make them HD installable, where the original games were intended for floppy drive only. The WHDLoad patches to certain games require you to register the program in order to use them (e.g. Moonstone, Supremacy, Elite) whilst others have imposed limitations without registration (Pinball Dreams, Bloodwych).

Since the R.I.S.S. project would not exist without the development of WHDLoad, we at www.pspuae.com feel it is our duty to respect the wishes of the WHDload slave authors, and have decided to impose their limitations within our savestates. We would encourage anyone who uses our save-states to consider registration, as this is one of the few major software projects still in development to this very day, and the slave authors do excellent work to aid us, the users.

if you would like further information on WHDLoad, or would like to register, please visit their site at www.whdload.de

Please note that PSPUAE is in no way affiliated with WHDLoad directly. We are just users of the software like anyone else. (Expect Horace who is working on becoming a developer as well as a user!)

if you are not interested in registering WHDload simply to play Moonstone, I suggest you source an ADF copy.
