Hey. I just installed PSPUAE on my 3.90 M33-2 PSP, kickstart, roms and all.. And it doesn't work. I used the non-KXploited folder to save time, but that seems to not be the problem, as the same error happens every time, I tried the KXploited one too, didn't work.
Now, the actual problem:
I start up PSPUAE. Everything is all fine and dandy until right after the 'our past, our future' splash screen disappears. The screen turns black. And nothing happens. No error code, nothing. The home button doesn't work, so I have to hard reset my PSP. This happens each time with PSPUAE 0.70. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?
sounds like you dont have kick13.rom or you have a corrupt / incorrect version.
Aye Horace is correct, this problem is only caused by missing Kickstart 1.3 or using the wrong / corrupt kickstart (amigaforever kicks dont work, also renaming another kick to 1.3 wont work either).
Err..
In the readme, it said you can use any kickrom up to 3.1.
I used kick30.rom...

Check it again, ;). It states you must have Kick1.3 or it wont work.
EDIT:- ok so it doesnt exactly state it, but theres like 2 clues. I even done a search of site that returns your answer, :). In the future ill put it in BIG BOLD LETTERS, then theres no more confusion. I dont know why I didnt add it before, as I covered everything else.

he he, thanks horace, yes thats were i put it, :). I knew i had, but ill add it to the next readme, right where it states about the kickstart names.

Think i should also add, that renaming another kick to 1.3, wont work either.
