I'm sure I remember back in the day that at one point a friend of mine linked our two Amiga's together to play Stunt Car Racer... I think it was via a modem cable which made it so that we each had our own TV screens! ;D
I don't know if there were any other Amiga games that could do this but I still remember it being a good laugh for that title! :) ...I guess this was cutting edge stuff at the time compared to how we now take system linked multiplayer machines for granted?
My question is would it be possible to get PSPUAE system linked via adhoc on the PSP like how I did it on my Amiga for Stunt Car Racer? ...or is it too much effort just for this one game? ??? ...it is a top game though! 8)
Ta
there are loads of games with serial linkup play.
Populous 1, 2, Lotus 2 (4 player!) , Super Skidmarks, Gravity Power.
syncronisation woul be a big issue, so i guess pspuae needs to be full-speed first.
remember, this is a function even winuae doesnt have, and toni wilen refuses to add!

Ahh I guess its just wishfull thinking on my part... it would be a kick ass feature though (even if it is doubtful it will become a reality). :)
I didnt realise that so many other games had the linkup feature. on the amiga?? :o

all the games there marked "null modem" are linkable via serial cable!
used to have much fun with this with one of my mates
Another, is Armageddon. Me and my brother spent days / months playing this linked up, :)
Null-modem linking via network sounds like a great feature. I'll try to work that into the new version I'm working on. I loved Stunt Car, but never had the opportunity to play it against someone.

2 A500's linked up, was a thing of beauty. Stunt Car is cool linked up, but Lotus 2 was awesome with 4 players, :). Hours of family fun.
You should have seen our null modem cable, it was 20 meters long, i would be upstairs and my brother would be downstairs, ah fond memories, :).
Stunt Car racer linked up was ace... at the time when we had a screen each I always thought it was cool as fook! ...although not very practical lugging the monitor and machine round a mates house each time. lol
If this does get worked on then that would be mad... either way I'm just grateful you guys put the time and effort into coding an emulator for the psp that holds so many fond memories for me.
Amiga = Good times! ;D

guess this means i'll have to dig an a4000 out to test the serial linkup on the whdload version with real h/w!
Well fingers crossed this will get looked at? ;D
This feature request section rocks! :)
