maybe its old nws but what do you think guys?
Its gonna suck
- you know why? -
because the iphone is NOT a gaming device. There are no buttons - which means your fingers are usually obstructing the game screen... and usually miss the action intended (oops I missed the jump "button")
.. are there ANY good games on the iphone ?

well i would be more hyped if it came out on the N900 that would be nice
Nice spot Bearclaw. Started a discussion about this over at EAB too.
What I don't understand is, how does this work?
Have they used UAE/WinUAE code and just re-packaged it to sell? Can't imagine they built it from scratch.
What about kickstart ROMS? Have they bought the rights to use the code or re-engineered a work around?
How are you going to control the characters without a joystick? A touch pad sounds a bit rubbish.
Questions, questions questions........
all seems a bit fishy to me.
I doubt it even has Archer MacLean's blessing tbh.
i dont think fingers obstructing the game is an issue though, as i suspect an area of the screen is reserved for the control "buttons" - if i had an iPhone, i'd probably buy it out of curiosity. iPhone "not being a gaming device" certainly isnt the issue here, loads of people play games on it quite happily.
i suspect the source of the emulator is eUAE or UAE4ALL and the kick-rom packaged in illegally -but that is idle speculation.
remember IK+ wasnt only released on the Amiga... ST, Gameboy Advance, and some others I believe...

my guess would be that they just ripped the grafic from it and made it into a new build... if that makes sence from a non-programmer

from the way they are talking about doing other Amiga games, i really doubt that.
