Fairly simple question, i would just like to know some other people's views.
Obviously the games are very similar, and pairing the likes of Indy Heat and Super-Off Road (despite having no actual connection) [WRONG!! - ed.] seems to have been popular, so perhaps rather than Jaguar XJ220 being all alone, should it sit alongside the excellent Lotus games?

then vote!
-
i've moved this poll to "news" becuase i really need some answers on this please, and even the active chat-room regulars seem not to be posting or even voting :'(
-
I voted for NO WAY! Now, tbh I don`t feel as strongly as that implies, if there had been a "I ain't fussed, but I would suggest XJ220 deserves it's own pack" voting option, I would have chosen it.
As for the argument that indy heat and Super Off Road have nothing in common, well thats simply not true. The original coin-ops were both written/designed by Leland corporation coin ops. The first, Super Off Road, was so succesful with its "spinner" (although I would call it a dial) control system that they rehashed the formula for Indy Heat and made twice the monkey off the same horse, er...if you see what I mean... :sly:

I really dont care.
Do whatever you want, lotus rocks with or without it 8)
-
Yes, why not?
tell me! Yes, why not?? :joker:

I concure, I did play Jaguar alot more after lotus2 until i got lotus3. So i say bundle them together.
-
right, if the poll is to be taken as is, then for the Big Pack 4 release these will be bundled together.
>however< it has come to my attention that Jaguar uses saves, which has been requested made usable by one of our site users.
I am pleased to report, that thanks to a 1999 whdload slave residing on my brother's A4000 HD (honestly, you cant make this up!) - this is now possible! This slave allows you to save to DF0: rather than the HD disk image, making online saving functional. ( it may be possible to do it with the newer slave - but i am unfamiliar with it, and was only seeing what appeared to be a disk image marked as DF0: on the save function)
I would like this to be tested as a single game-pack before i merge the two. Anybody playing both jaguar and Lotus online, and who does use the save function, must be aware of the concequences of not keeping an identical save-disk as their opponent.
